It is with enormous sadness that on July 20th-21st my dearest, and closest friend of 47 years passed away. Mal was always supportive of my books and writing - to the extent that when I decided to go 'indie' in 2005/6 he financed the re-publication of my trade-published novels, and my new projects.

Mal also managed my website (www.helenhollick.net) which, alas, I can no longer use as I have no idea  of HTML... so, I am keeping the 'old' site active as an archived memorial to Mal, but have created this easy-for-me-to-use website-blog as an alternative.

Most of the important items I have (or will be!) transferring to this site, while some of the 'redundant' items will remain on the original. You will find their links here.

At the time of posting this, (1st August 2025) the Coroner has not yet finalised his/her report, beyond Mal passed away from a thrombosis/heart attack. There is no funeral yet arranged. 

R.I.P. Mal. You were that rarity, a real Gentleman, and you are already very much missed.
